Very simple look today. I am kind of sad that I didn't have any decent silver polish to stamp with. That needs to be corrected soon. This is OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress with Konad black stamped using a Winstonia Plate. I need to have my co-worker Sue tell me what the symbol means because I have no idea. Tiffany and Emily, if you're reading this, go ask your mom so I will not forget. I tried stamping a Pagoda in the accent nail but it is really sheer. I still like the look and got quite a few compliments at the conference that I am attending this week. That wraps up stamping month for me. At least, for this particular challenge.

Nail Challenge Collaborative-Financial Stamping
Once a quarter I meet with a conservative group to review financial statements. Very exciting stuff....ummm, not. I decided the last meeting I went to, that I would do my nails with an appropriate theme and see if anyone noticed. Well, either they didn't notice, or they just didn't know how to comment. I enjoyed them anyway. What a great combo. This is Enchanted Polish Gummy Worm topped with dollar signs stamped in an off white. Perfection.........in my opinion.
Digit-al Dozen Does Bling-Bars and Gems
I am late with the last post. This was a busy week for me. Which, I am happy about because I am no longer home in bed bored. I decided to end the week with something simple and very different from my norm. I used OPI My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours and topped it with OPI Save Me. I am not generally a fan of bar glitter but this is so amazingly sparkly spectacular in the sun. A few gems on
the accent and I was ready to go.
the accent and I was ready to go.

Digit-al Dozen Does Bling-Accented Sand
I am really in love with OPI Bond Girl Sands. Especially Tiffany Case. It is the prettiest blue and full of sparkle. I wore it for a day and then took off the ring finder and created a little art as an accent.

Digit-al Dozen Does Bling-Blingy Accent
After I bought Ninja Polish Strawberries N Roses from their bling collection, I decided it would be really amazing paired with green since there are small flecks of green in the amazingly packed glitter bomb. When I recently purchased from Zoya during their Earth Day sale, I bought Josie from the 2013 summer collection and knew they would be a perfect match. I am in love with this combination and the photo does not do it justice.

Digital Dozen Does Bling-Glitter Bomb
Now that I finally found a basecoat combo that allows me to wear glitter for more than three hours without chipping, I decided to break out my BL's and do a tape manicure. This is Butter London West End Wonderland and Scallywag. Love this combination. And. it lasted for two days with two coats of Nail Tek Ultra Foundation underneath.

Digital Dozen Does Bling-Checkered Sands
This month's theme is bling. I found myself going back to glitters multiple times. I haven't really done too many tape manicures so I figured I would give one a try here. This showcases two of the Bond Girl Liquid Sands from OPI. The blue is Tiffany Case and the orange is Jinx (which I am also wearing on my toes btw).

Nail Challenge Collaborative-Stamping Skittles Again
I am trying to go through some of my untrieds so I decided to do some more skittles for this challenge. The challenge topic this month is stamping. This design that I used on index and ring finger is from the Cheeky Summer 2013 plates. I used Mentality's Exuberant on the pinky and Zoya Natty, Zoya Kristen and Color Club Harp on it for the stamping and water marble.

Instagram update
My friend Alyson convinced me to start using Instagram. I have been sucked in and that is where I have spent most of my time. If you are on it and want to check mine out, you can find me at @creativenaildesignbysue. If you are on and want me to heck YOU out, leave your handle in the comment section.
I have begun to realize how much I hate the blogging part of nail art blogging. You probably notice, I rarely post more than one picture each time. I find the process of editing and posting the least interesting. Instagram gives me the opportunity to post the manicures that I do between blog posts. I generally change my manicure every other day. Some are simple and others are more complex.
I do, however, have followers who aren't on Instagram so I am keeping the blog. I will continue with my regular nail art challenges and will post on those but I also will post regular picture posts of the manicures that you don't get to see from Instagram. So, take a look at what I have been up to.....

Nail Challenge Collaborative-Stamping Skittles
I love doing skittle manicures because it allows me to use a couple untrieds at the same time. I did this one after Illamasquas went on sale at Sephora. This is Muse and I used my Milani White on the Spot with it since it's pretty much a one coater for me. The Color Club halo Hues are great for stamping, as you can see. I will be using those a lot this summer. I also hear they make great water marble polishes. I will have to give that a whirl.
