A while back I saw this post by Kayla Shevonne and fell in love. She is so creative and talented. I attempted to recreate it but it was kind of a fail for me because the stamping didn't come out as clean as I would have liked. I use a credit card for scraping and it really needs to be replaced because it doesn't scrape well anymore. I still love the look. For the third time this week, I am sticking to my old favorites, Cult Nails Nevermore and Tempest.
I really like the way these turned out. I thought that the flowers were really cool with the lines all being different. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mani! I love the bordered nail look, I really need to try it sometime,
ReplyDeletePreciosa, esas flores son super bonitas!
ReplyDeleteHe creado El Gran Reto de la Navidad NailArt, Anímate!! (También en inglés!)
I love framed stamping manis like this! It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I've gone through half of my bottle of Nevermore and Tempest this week!! Lol! Very nice mani :)
ReplyDeleteI used to use a plastic scraper but found it got dull over time and didn't scrape the image well. Never had good luck with credit cards either. I've been using the Konad metal scraper for a while now and find it works best for me. I know some people don't like the plate scratches but I'm the only one who uses them and I have no plans on selling them so no matter!
ReplyDeleteI also love it when stamped manis are framed, it makes them look really polished. It makes the inconsistencies in the images look purposeful, kind of distressed-looking. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous. I love the flowers so much.
ReplyDeleteLove it! The framing just takes this mani to next level!
ReplyDeleteWhat stamping plate was used?
ReplyDeleteIt's from the Cheeky 2013 collection. The large plates. I forget the plate title.
